The Amy Bassin/Mark Blickley text based art collaboration, Dream Streams, began this past year after they read Man Ray’s memoir, Self-Portrait, and were enthralled by the Dadaist experiments that combined fine art photography with poetic texts. Each piece utilizes prose poetry wedded to a provocative photograph to expose suppressed and subliminal chimeras and fantasies.
