Even before the release of her debut story collection, Before You Suffocate Your Own Fool Self, Danielle Evans proved herself as a literary talent to watch with attention-grabbing publications in The Paris Review and Best American Short Stories. Last week, her rising star status was cemented with a prestigious 5 under 35 selection from the National Book Foundation.
